Nacel España offers international teenagers the chance to spend up to two unforgettable months living with a Spanish host family during the summer. This program is the perfect opportunity to dive into Spanish culture, improve your language skills, and experience everyday life as locals do.
Our host families are carefully chosen by Nacel coordinators and represent the diversity of Spain — some live in lively cities, others in charming small towns, quiet villages, or even on farms. No matter where you are placed, each destination provides its own unique traditions, lifestyle, and discoveries.
Placement is based on finding the best match between student and host family, and participants must be open-minded and ready to embrace the location offered. What truly matters is the warm welcome and cultural exchange: Spanish families are eager to share their routines, traditions, and language, making students feel part of the household from day one.

Living with a Spanish host family during the summer months
Students are welcomed as full members of their host family and enjoy full-board accommodation (all meals included). The goal of the program is true integration into everyday Spanish life: sharing meals, conversations, and routines just like any other family member.
While families provide a warm home and cultural exchange, they are not expected to arrange trips or excursions. Students should bring their own spending money to participate in leisure activities or outings of their choice.
This balance ensures a genuine homestay experience, where cultural immersion comes naturally through daily life with the family.
